This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Perform pre-employment investigations for candidates in law enforcement and government roles.
β’ Investigate and evaluate applications, employment histories, criminal records, and public documents to confirm candidate qualifications.
β’ Conduct thorough interviews via phone or virtual platforms to gather valuable insights.
β’ Carry out criminal background checks and verify civil lawsuits using public records.
β’ Detect gaps or discrepancies and determine the most effective methods to acquire accurate information.
β’ Compile detailed investigative reports with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
β’ Ensure professional and timely communication with clients and agency stakeholders.
β’ Systematically organize information and manage caseloads effectively to adhere to deadlines.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Journalism, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Pre-Law, Paralegal, or a related discipline.
β’ At least five years of investigative or related experience, encompassing journalism, investigative reporting, or criminal investigations.
β’ Strong interviewing abilities for both remote and face-to-face interviews.
β’ Excellent analytical and writing skills, with the capacity to interpret findings and produce clear reports.
β’ Demonstrated capability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
β’ Proficient in Google Docs, Excel, and investigative tools or software.
β’ Must be able to pass a Security Clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or already hold one.
β’ Capacity to complete a minimum of five cases weekly.
