This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the creation of a learning content strategy across multiple topic areas that supports business goals.
• Partner with stakeholders to comprehend product direction and convert that into actionable and effective content strategies.
• Design and execute scalable, adaptable, and reusable content specifically for developers.
• Identify the 'appropriate content to develop' based on competency needs in accordance with stakeholder input.
• Create curriculum for one or more applications and services while adhering to best practices in instructional design.
• Design and produce a range of learning materials, such as interactive tutorials/practical labs, videos, assessments, micro-learning modules, and e-learning courses customized for various user requirements and technical proficiencies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that content meets brand standards and visual experience objectives.
• Conduct regular reviews to pinpoint and rectify content gaps or inconsistencies.
• Mentor junior instructional designers, ensuring adherence to best practices in learning experience design and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, technical writing, or a related discipline, accompanied by 5-8 years of experience specifically in developing highly technical training content.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering technical training for developer and engineer audiences on enterprise software or SaaS applications.
• Strong foundation in troubleshooting complex systems, reading/debugging code, along with a thorough understanding of web application development and cloud platform tools.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance content development and research efficiency.
• Self-motivated individual with a passion for continuous learning and a proven track record of learning independently and working autonomously with minimal guidance.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles.
• Ability to extract information from subject matter experts and learn through experimentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong collaboration abilities across diverse teams.
• Strategic thinker with a creative and innovative mindset towards content development.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with agile methodologies for project or content development and knowledge of project management tools like JIRA.
