• Spearhead the creation of a learning content strategy for a specific product or subject area.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain insights into product direction and convert these into actionable and effective content plans.
• Oversee the learning design initiatives for applications and services within a designated topic area.
• Formulate realistic content plans in partnership with other content creators, monitor activities against the project timeline, and recommend viable solutions when demand surpasses capacity.
• Design and implement adaptable and scalable content that can be repurposed.
• Assess the 'appropriate content to develop' including delivery methods and required effort, based on competency needs in accordance with stakeholder direction.
• Create curriculum for one or more applications and services while adhering to instructional design best practices and departmental standards.
• Design and produce a variety of learning materials, such as interactive tutorials/practical labs, videos, assessments, micro-learning modules, and e-learning courses tailored for a range of user needs and technical competencies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content meets brand standards and visual experience objectives.
• Conduct regular evaluations to identify and rectify content gaps or inconsistencies.
• Mentor junior instructional designers, ensuring adherence to best practices in learning experience design and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, technical writing, or a related discipline with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field combined with applicable work experience in education or technical writing.
• Proficient in instructional design principles and familiar with GenAI tools and resources.
• Understanding of web application development and cloud platform tools.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Ability to extract information from subject matter experts and learn through experimentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong collaboration abilities across diverse teams.
• A strategic thinker with a creative and innovative outlook towards content development.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and a proven track record of independent work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies for project or content development and experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
• Proficient in English.
