
Lead Historic Preservation Specialist β Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
β’ Offer technical guidance in the field of architectural history, which includes developing technical approaches, delegating tasks, and conducting QA/QC for reports or documents created by junior staff.
β’ Oversee projects focused on environmental compliance and cultural resource management, encompassing client interactions, task order oversight, budget management, invoicing, scheduling, personnel planning, and subcontractor coordination.
β’ Assess resources for the National Register of Historic Places, formulate resource management suggestions, evaluate project impacts on resources, and provide expert support to tackle intricate management challenges necessitating advanced technical or regulatory expertise.
β’ Collaborate within integrated teams of cultural resource experts (including archaeologists, historians, ethnographers, landscape historians, etc.) to address challenges alongside natural resource scientists, planners, regulators, engineers, and other stakeholders.
β’ Engage with clients to fulfill long-term goals and enhance efficiencies, ranging from programmatic strategies and feasibility assessments to implementation, operations, and maintenance.
β’ Masterβs degree in Architectural History or a related discipline.
β’ Over 6 years of professional experience in cultural resource management.
β’ A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
