Lead Full Stack Developer, ReactJS, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of developers.

• Provide technical guidance and perform code reviews.

• Advocate for engineering best practices.

• Take ownership of application architecture and technical design choices related to scalability, security, integration patterns, and maintainability.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications utilizing ReactJS, Node.js, and contemporary frameworks.

• Create responsive, high-performance, reusable UI components using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and business logic with Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.

• Design and manage integrations with external and third-party REST APIs.

• Design, develop, and enhance database schemas, queries, and data models.

• Guide decisions related to cloud architecture and deployment.

• Integrate authentication, authorization, and data protection measures into the architecture.

• Ensure code is clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented through reviews, automated testing, and adherence to coding standards.

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions on schedule.

• Identify and address technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.

• Stay informed about emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.

• Decompose requirements into technical tasks and guide the implementation process.

• Own technical decisions, architecture, delivery timelines, and code quality.

• Resolve technical obstacles and promote knowledge sharing among team members.

• Align technical solutions with business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and Node.js.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.

• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs, including those with external or third-party systems.

• Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

• Experience in database design, query optimization, and data modeling.

• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture and ownership of system-level design decisions.

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and application security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

• Prior experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or a similar leadership role.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Ability to work independently while providing guidance and collaboration with a development team.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools is a significant advantage.

• Experience with Azure cloud services is preferable; familiarity with AWS is a plus.

• Experience with TypeScript and modern React development methodologies.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment automation.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Experience integrating with Transportation Management System (TMS) APIs or similar logistics/supply-chain platforms is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint planning.

• Exposure to monitoring, logging, and production support practices.
