Lead Front-End Engineer – Digital agency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the execution of high-fidelity user interfaces, incorporating animations and business logic utilizing React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Design and integrate headless CMS solutions to guarantee a seamless content delivery and authoring experience.

• Develop and uphold scalable Design Systems adhering to Atomic Design principles with Storybook.

• Mentor and support front-end engineers, ensuring adherence to code quality, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+), and performance benchmarks.

• Collaborate intimately with Design and Product teams to ascertain feasibility and achieve pixel-perfect implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and contemporary styling frameworks (Tailwind, MUI, CSS Modules).

• Significant experience with headless CMS, particularly Sanity.io (including GROQ/GraphQL) and transitioning from platforms like WordPress or AEM.

• Strong grasp of state management solutions (Zustand, Redux, or XState) and front-end testing frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience leading distributed teams within Agile/SCRUM frameworks.
