Lead Field Testing Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and deliver technical reports for all Fenestration Field Testing initiatives while adhering to all relevant industry testing standards.

• Guide and mentor junior technicians throughout the testing procedures.

• Aid in the appropriate setup and dismantling of all testing apparatus.

• Consistently create and uphold a safe working environment.

• Utilize power and hand tools to fabricate necessary items for the testing process.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and comprehensive technical reports for each testing activity.

• Travel is a requirement, potentially up to 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Experience in construction is preferred.

• A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Capability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.

• Proficient in using measuring tools and making precise cuts to wood with hand and power tools.

• Ability to create and resolve basic mathematical equations.

• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency is necessary.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• A Fenestration Associate Certification is mandatory.

• An OSHA 10 for Construction Certification is a requirement.
