Lead Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the Field Service team to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective services to customers.

• Propel the success of field service operations to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Ensure that customer requirements are addressed promptly and effectively while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Monitor and assess field service performance metrics to pinpoint areas needing enhancement.

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on building automation systems.

• Execute system upgrades and modifications as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee the successful implementation of solutions.

• Provide training and support to customers regarding the operation of building automation systems.

• This position may involve travel of up to 10% throughout Newfoundland.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in the building automation or controls field service, or a similar role.

• A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.

• Post-secondary education in HVAC, Controls, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertaining to building automation.

• Certifications in building automation systems (e.g., Niagara, Tridium) are preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies.

• A robust customer focus with the ability to establish and maintain relationships.

• Proficient in communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in driving process enhancements and implementing best practices.

• Capability to foster change and innovation.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
