Lead Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Honeywell Intelligrated is looking for a Lead Field Service Technician to offer onsite support at our customers' distribution centers located in the Southeast region.

• In the role of Lead Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining both new and existing material handling and sortation equipment, responding to emergency service requests, and delivering comprehensive customer support for all Intelligrated and Legacy equipment, which includes sortation systems, AS/RS shuttle systems, robotic applications, palletizers, cranes, and various types of conveying equipment.

• You will collect data by using specific reports and Intelligrated procedures, providing various forms and custom reports to clients to aid in the sales of parts and service contracts. Additionally, as required, you will help train new employees in the field and may take on in-house assignments related to technical support, training, or documentation.

• Travel will be necessary throughout and residency may be required in any of the following states: OK, AR, TX, TN, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, NC, SC.

⛳️ Requirements

• A combination of education and experience is required: a high school diploma (or equivalent) along with 5 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in Engineering coupled with 2 years of field experience.

• At least 2 years of strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with conveyor systems and high voltage electrical motors (such as VFDs, Servo, etc).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience using MS Office products and Operating Systems (e.g., Windows 11).

• A valid driver's license is essential.

• Reliable transportation to a major airport is required (must reside within one hour's commute of the nearest airport).

• Willingness to travel 85% of the time within the Southeast region, with occasional travel to other regions.
