Lead Epic Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations of assigned analysts, including prioritizing tasks and coordinating resources.

• Identify and address issues, risks, and escalations effectively.

• Update the Application Manager on progress, status, and any escalated issues.

• Collaborate with other team leads to coordinate system design, development, testing, training, and go-live activities.

• Provide guidance and establish best-practice build standards for Connect Hope Epic applications.

• Supervise Application Analysts under the Application Manager's direction.

• Plan and manage team work activities and meeting schedules.

• Ensure project plans, design documents, build audits, testing plans and scripts, training materials, and activation plans are completed on time.

• Support both operational and project-related work streams.

• Ensure that deliverables comply with City of Hope governance standards.

• Confirm that ticket submissions are thorough and timely.

• Escalate unresolved issues across teams as necessary.

• Communicate the status of work plans regarding tasks, issues, and risks.

• Promote best practices, comprehensive testing, and coordinated changes.

• Engage in team and project meetings.

• Onboard and train new team members on Epic policies and procedures.

• Ensure the team adheres to established processes.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams within ConnectHope.

• Execute Epic application build assignments along with other related responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; relevant experience may substitute for the minimum educational requirement.

• Epic Willow InPatient Certification is mandatory.

• Willow Amb and/or Inventory experience is highly desirable.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in systems analysis or 5 years in healthcare Information Technology, including at least 3 years of Epic build experience.

• At least one year of experience in leadership or mentorship of a team, task force, project, or similar assignment, or an equivalent combination of experience.

• Relevant Epic Module or newly obtained Epic certification must be achieved within six months of employment.

• For internal City of Hope candidates, Epic certification is required within 9 months of transitioning into the Epic project.
