Lead Engineer – Engineering Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and evaluate software applications in C# and Python.

• Mentor junior software engineers by providing technical guidance.

• Assess user requirements to create and implement robust coding solutions.

• Collaborate closely with systems engineers to ensure application development aligns with product specifications.

• Work in tandem with various engineering teams, partners, and vendors to promote interoperability and code reuse.

• Suggest and create innovative technical solutions to complex challenges.

• Assist Project Leadership in defining and allocating task assignments.

• Offer guidance and support for software engineering tasks, including the design, development, and testing of Configuration Tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.

• At least 6 years of experience in software development.

• U.S. citizenship is a requirement.

• Experience in leading and/or mentoring a team is necessary.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.

• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, and/or Python.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and resolve issues.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening may be required.
