Lead Electrical Distribution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all electrical engineering requirements for the Electrify America operations team.

• Collaborate directly with Electrify America equipment suppliers regarding electrical components.

• Offer dedicated support to the field team and project architect during construction drawing evaluations.

• Work together with Electrify America's lab team for testing and documentation purposes.

• Design electrical sections for standard permitting sets related to construction projects.

• Aid in the creation and execution of National Design Standards.

• Manage relationships with construction management companies, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Lead the review process for engineering and construction contracts.

• Provide essential technical insights for engineering and construction service providers.

• Oversee electrical design components of utility coordination and establish connections with electric utilities.

• Serve as the technical expert for executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training certification (preferred).

• Proficient in interpreting and implementing designs from technical drawings.

• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors and clients, both verbally and in writing.

• Skilled in creating product documentation and maintaining records.

• Capable of preparing cost estimates for clients and team members.

• Experience in inspecting electrical components during and after installation.

• Strong project management skills.

• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
