Lead Director – Software Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Offer leadership and direction to technology teams focused on rebates software products and applications.

• Oversee the execution of IT initiatives, ensuring quality, design, timely delivery, budget compliance, and achievement of key OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

• Manage the IT budget, resources, and vendors involved in delivering IT projects and services in accordance with OKRs.

• Foster and sustain effective communication and collaboration with business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to meet business requirements and expectations, while addressing any issues or escalations.

• Propel innovation and continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of leadership experience in a matrixed organization encompassing technical leadership and application development.

• More than 7 years of experience leading full-stack engineering teams or equivalent roles, including defining and executing long-term technology strategy management and delivery.

• At least 5 years of experience with the following technology stack: Angular, TypeScript, SpringBoot, Java, Kotlin, test frameworks (Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github Actions, Concourse, Circle CI), Informatica, and mainframes.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in deploying or modernizing applications on cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS, along with API Design & Development and Microservices Architecture.

• More than 5 years of experience in fiscal management of capital and operating expense budgets.

• Over 7 years of experience in collaboration across the organization and leading enterprise-wide initiatives.
