Lead Director – Finance Reporting, AI/ML Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide teams focused on reporting modernization and AI/ML-driven process transformation.

• Establish strategic direction and execution benchmarks for reporting, analytics, and automation projects.

• Design and implement transformation strategies that align with corporate objectives and business priorities.

• Ensure teams possess the necessary skills, training, and resources to deliver contemporary reporting and AI/ML solutions.

• Promote standardization, simplification, and automation of reporting processes across various functions.

• Create scalable reporting and analytics frameworks that enhance transparency, speed, and the quality of decision-making.

• Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to define KPI frameworks and models for performance measurement.

• Identify and deliver AI/ML use cases that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation.

• Oversee multiple transformation initiatives and workstreams, effectively managing priorities and interdependencies.

• Report on progress, insights, and value derived from reporting and AI/ML initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a large, complex organization.

• At least 1 year of experience in delivering Generative AI applications into production.

• Strong knowledge of reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making within Finance or enterprise functions.

• Familiarity with contemporary data platforms, reporting tools, and analytics ecosystems.

• Relevant Cloud certification (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).

• Hands-on experience with BigQuery and/or Databricks is highly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent years of related professional experience may be considered.

• Advanced degree or certifications in analytics, data science, or transformation disciplines are preferred.
