This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversees the cross-functional product leadership team known as the 5-in-the-box, working closely with the Business General Manager (GM).
• Responsible for the team's deliverables and the final output to stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the business general manager and stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding investment priorities and to develop business cases.
• Establishes and communicates the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with the 5-in-the-box team; evaluates and adjusts as necessary.
• Converts customer and business requirements into both short-term and long-term product strategies by formulating Epics and initiatives designed to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Links the roadmap to specific value drivers that align with business priorities, objectives, key results, and strategic programs.
• Provides guidance for discovery work, ensuring the product team maintains a focus on continuous exploration.
• Analyzes the hiring market to identify candidates who possess the unique combination of personality traits and skill sets that fit the role.
• Advocates for strong product management practices and agile principles by consistently highlighting team successes and areas for improvement.
• Establishes product objectives and key results (OKRs) that are aligned with business goals to monitor progress towards desired outcomes.
• Monitors product objectives and key results (OKRs), in accordance with business objectives, to gauge progress towards outcomes, track product health metrics, share updates, and continuously reinforce objectives and alignment with the overall product portfolio outcomes.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, IT, healthcare, or a related field is required.
• Previous experience in agile product development is advantageous.
• Proven track record of success in creating large-scale consumer-facing products.
• Ability to navigate a complex, multi-stakeholder client environment effectively.
• Must be customer-centric, creative, and strategic in approach.
• Prior experience working with software development teams in an agile environment is essential.
• Capability to drive cross-functional teams towards alignment in uncertain situations.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making and quantitative analysis.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
