Lead Director – Artificial Intelligence Solutions Engineering, Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery process of enterprise Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning products, starting from opportunity identification and solution design to proof of concept, production deployment, enterprise adoption, and value realization, ensuring measurable business outcomes that align with strategic goals.

• Establish and operationalize standards for solution engineering, architecture, and delivery for AI-enabled products, creating scalable, secure, resilient, and reusable implementation patterns that adhere to enterprise technology standards, governance requirements, and engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Observability, Data, and Business leaders to pinpoint high-value use cases, prioritize investments, define success metrics, and expedite the adoption of Artificial Intelligence capabilities throughout the enterprise.

• Oversee technology investments, strategic portfolios, budgets, vendor relationships, resource planning, and governance processes, offering executive insights into delivery performance, business value, risks, dependencies, financial results, and operational readiness.

• Build, lead, and nurture high-performing teams of Technical Product Managers, Solutions Engineers, and Forward Deployment Engineers while promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, operational excellence, continuous learning, inclusivity, and customer-focused delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in developing enterprise software products and platforms that utilize Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and contemporary software engineering practices.

• More than 10 years of experience in delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions within complex, highly regulated environments.

• 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native solutions across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

• 7+ years of experience in building, leading, and scaling product management, software engineering, or solutions engineering teams responsible for enterprise technology delivery and transformation.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing and deploying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), GraphRAG, agentic architectures, observability, model monitoring, and production AI operational practices.
