This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee the strategy, architecture, and implementation of enterprise AI platform capabilities, which encompass RAG, GraphRAG, vector search, MCP servers, memory and context services, reusable agents, model lifecycle management, and developer enablement accelerators that facilitate scalable AI/ML adoption.
• Direct the strategy, development, and management of reusable data products and enterprise data engineering capabilities, focusing on data ingestion, transformation, quality, metadata management, lineage, feature engineering, and data services that underpin AI, analytics, and business outcomes.
• Set enterprise standards and operational protocols for platform reliability, observability, infrastructure automation, security, privacy, compliance, model governance, responsible AI, risk management, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Product, Data, and Business leaders to shape technology strategy, assess emerging technologies, establish enterprise standards, enhance investments, eliminate redundancy, and propel AI and data modernization initiatives.
• Build, lead, and nurture high-performing teams of Engineering Managers, Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Operations Engineers, while promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, inclusion, operational excellence, and measurable business impact.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, platform engineering, or related engineering fields, including the design and delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• At least 7 years of experience in building and leading extensive platform engineering organizations responsible for enterprise AI/ML platforms, data platforms, products, and technology delivery.
• Over 7 years of practical experience in constructing and scaling AI/ML platforms, DevSecOps, MLOps, LLMOps, deployment automation, security engineering, and platform operations that support mission-critical workloads.
• More than 7 years of experience in designing and managing secure cloud-native platforms within highly regulated environments, covering privacy, security, governance, compliance, identity management, audit controls, risk management, and operational resilience.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading and developing high-performing engineering teams, including Engineering Managers and senior technical professionals, while establishing enterprise Data Engineering capabilities, focusing on large-scale data ingestion, batch and streaming architectures, data governance, and reusable data products.
