Lead DevOps Engineer, Data & AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute a contemporary DevOps and platform engineering strategy that aligns with the objectives of data and AI platforms.

• Create roadmaps that integrate AI-enhanced development, testing, and operational processes.

• Lead the transition from conventional DevOps to intelligent, self-service platform functionalities.

• Continuously assess emerging technologies (such as GenAI, LLMOps, AIOps) and integrate them as appropriate.

• Design and refine CI/CD pipelines utilizing AI-driven tools (for instance, code generation, test generation, and pipeline optimization).

• Work collaboratively with Data Delivery and platform teams to address issues promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions).

• Proficient in infrastructure as code (Bicep, ARM, or similar technologies).

• Skillful in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

• Profound knowledge of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and release management strategies.

• Experience with Azure services and cloud-native architecture.

• Familiarity with data platforms (including Databricks, ADF, Airflow, SQL, AAS, or equivalent).

• Practical experience or strong knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and code assistants).

• Understanding of MLOps / LLMOps concepts (including model deployment, monitoring, and versioning).

• Familiarity with AIOps tools for monitoring and incident management.

• Experience with governance frameworks, access control mechanisms, and compliance standards.
