Lead Data Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• The Data Security Specialist is tasked with safeguarding data across two vital dimensions.

• This role is positioned at the convergence of security engineering, data governance, and business facilitation.

• This role is integral to our leadership succession pipeline.

• Take ownership of the DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and ZTNA strategy concerning endpoints, cloud applications, and communication channels.

• Establish and enforce data classification policies.

• Oversee and enhance security controls for corporate SaaS platforms.

• Collaborate with the CSIRT and investigation teams during incidents of data exfiltration.

• Monitor indicators of insider threats and create behavioral analytics rules.

• Assist in meeting compliance obligations related to data protection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in data protection, DLP, ZTNA, and information security governance.

• In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles and their practical application.

• Profound understanding of security hardening for corporate SaaS environments.

• Familiarity with data architecture concepts such as APIs, ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud data platforms.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including LGPD, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.

• Practical experience with AI tools for anomaly detection, data classification, or security automation.

• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
