
Lead, Data Quality – Clinical Abstraction Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee external vendors responsible for clinical abstraction to address HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) gaps.
• Supervise and engage in medical record review and abstraction processes for both hybrid and supplemental HEDIS seasons.
• Provide clinical expertise in medical record review to support enterprise-wide initiatives related to medical record data quality, master data management, and supplemental data integration.
• Conduct clinical member research and analysis as requested by business partners.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, data quality, and consistency within clinical abstraction workflows.
• Develop and assess master data management metrics, report on data integrity and quality trends, and propose strategies for ongoing improvement.
• Deliver training, guidance, and best practices to both internal teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical and/or clinical data management, with a proven history in data quality, integrity, or master data management.
• At least 2 years of experience in project leadership or supervisory roles.
• Familiarity with Healthcare Operations.
• Experience with data quality management principles, data architecture, and knowledge of analytics/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Proven capability to effectively articulate ideas in both written and oral forms.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions in complex, variable environments.
