Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Architecture of the data platform and development of the implementation roadmap;

• Strategy for data ingestion (managed ELT along with pragmatic alternatives for handling high-volume streams);

• Standards for transformation modeling and definitions of metrics;

• Ensuring data quality, reliability, and monitoring;

• Technical alignment with product teams, growth initiatives, analytics, and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a senior or lead data engineer;

• Proficiency in advanced SQL and Python;

• Experience in production environments with modern data warehouse technologies (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar);

• Practical knowledge of transformation frameworks (dbt, Dataform, SQLMesh, or similar);

• Hands-on experience with orchestration and monitoring strategies;

• Capability to prioritize based on business impact and effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
