Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design and implement production-ready data engineering solutions for data and analytics platforms.

• Create and execute dependable ETL, ELT, and streaming data ingestion processes.

• Develop, maintain, and containerize data applications and utility scripts utilizing Python.

• Enhance data ingestion architecture with a focus on quality and performance improvements.

• Establish engineering standards for the data team.

• Equip data analytics platforms with metrics and alerting systems to ensure high availability.

• Utilize AI development tools to optimize engineering workflows.

• Work collaboratively with data science teams on Generative AI applications.

• Integrate data from various production systems for the benefit of analysts and scientists.

• Ensure alignment of technical data development with essential business processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Data Architecture & Enterprise Modeling.

• Proficient in Advanced Data Transformations.

• Knowledge of Production SDLC & Workflow Best Practices.

• Expertise in Data Governance & Security.

• 3 to 6 years of substantial technical experience in Advanced Python Development.

• Familiarity with AWS Platform & Containerization.

• Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.

• Proficient in dbt (Data Build Tool).

• Acquainted with Orchestration & Scheduling tools such as Prefect or Airflow.

• Knowledge of Data Replication tools like Qlik Replicate.

• Strong soft skills and collaboration abilities.

• Possess a 'Product-First' Mindset.
