Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the intermediary layer of the data pipeline, integrating Quantum interaction data with account, device, and various operational data sources.

• Create and oversee ETL workflows scheduled on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Develop and manage processing resources within AWS.

• Validate outputs and generate dependable datasets for Tableau.

• Design and maintain application data architectures that reduce compute requirements and enhance dashboard efficiency.

• Examine data discrepancies.

• Resolve pipeline issues.

• Modify workflows as application features and reporting requirements evolve.

• Collaborate with the engineering lead, data engineers, application developers, and data product owners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or a similar field.

• Solid hands-on experience with AWS, particularly in managing resources for data processing.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Familiarity with Spark.

• Experience in constructing ETL pipelines.

• Background in integrating multiple data sources.

• Experience in organizing data for analytical purposes.

• An investigative mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous technical challenges independently.

• A collaborative spirit and the capability to take ownership of tasks within a cohesive team environment.

• Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
