Lead Data Engineer - Advertising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and scale high-throughput, low-latency data infrastructure.

• Integrate cloud data lakes and warehouses with dynamic AI backends and real-time workflows.

• Transform static data repositories into active context layers, vector engines, and memory systems.

• Construct real-time ingestion, event-driven streaming, and retrieval pipelines.

• Supply live AI applications with RAG, vector stores, and operational databases.

• Define data architecture standards, CI/CD processes, documentation, and best practices for data quality.

• Mentor and guide data engineers.

• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers, Product teams, Creative Directors, and agency stakeholders.

• Convert client and business needs into production-ready data APIs and schemas.

• Utilize AI-driven coding, agentic engineering, and modern automated workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.

• Proven track record in designing, building, and scaling data pipelines and cloud infrastructure from scratch.

• Experience in activating data infrastructure for dynamic, real-time downstream applications.

• Skilled in constructing data layers for real-time, event-driven applications.

• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, or pgvector.

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) at scale.

• Strong background with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proficiency in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.

• Advanced skills in Python and SQL.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, agentic coding, and automated engineering workflows.

• Proven ability to mentor engineers and establish engineering standards.

• Excellent communication skills suitable for a hybrid Tech/Creative environment.

• Must be located in Latin America.

• Fluency in English is required.
