This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the financial planning process and tools for the company: Spearhead annual budgeting, long-term planning, and continuous forecasting across all business divisions.
• Facilitate executive decision-making: Convert intricate financial data into straightforward insights and actionable suggestions for the CEO, CFO, and leadership team.
• Establish a modern FP&A infrastructure: Create scalable financial models, reporting systems, and analytical tools to support a rapidly growing and dynamic organization.
• Enhance business performance management: Define and monitor KPIs, ensuring a strong correlation between financial results and operational execution.
• Lead variance analysis and narrative development: Clarify performance against plans through a driver-based perspective (volume, price, mix, margin dynamics).
• Collaborate across functions: Partner closely with Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Credit, Product, and International teams to ensure financial alignment and precision.
• Assist in capital allocation decisions: Assess investments, workforce planning, pricing strategies, and strategic initiatives.
• Support M&A and capital markets projects: Create models, diligence workstreams, and reporting structures to facilitate strategic transactions and prepare for IPO readiness.
• 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance roles, preferably within lending, fintech, or credit-focused businesses.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in building and scaling essential FP&A functions in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
• Robust financial modeling skills with extensive experience in forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis, with a preference for cohorted/vintage-based credit modeling and portfolio analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and experience with contemporary FP&A tools, along with familiarity with AI-driven analytics platforms and workflow automation tools. Experience with Aleph or other next-gen planning tools is a plus.
• Capability to distill complex, multi-faceted financial and credit information into clear, executive-level insights, along with a strong intuition regarding unit economics, portfolio performance, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Strong business acumen, with experience collaborating closely with senior leadership across credit, risk, product, capital markets, and operations.
• Experience in high-growth settings, preferably with fintech lending platforms, credit underwriting companies, or multi-product financial services organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline (MBA is a plus but not mandatory).
