This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.
β’ Develop and oversee a comprehensive content strategy across both paid and organic channels, prioritizing performance, scalability, and alignment with growth objectives.
β’ Transform Grove's mission and product value propositions into engaging concepts, briefs, and messaging frameworks that resonate with various audiences and can be consistently utilized across channels.
β’ Create and manage all creative briefs for paid advertisements, organic social media, user-generated content (UGC), and new channel tests β including hooks, formats, copy direction, and audience targeting β ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability.
β’ Spearhead category and audience expansion ideation for paid ads in collaboration with the Paid Media Manager and Director of Growth, offering strategic recommendations based on performance analytics.
β’ Oversee the entire UGC creator network β scouting, briefing, contract management, deliverable tracking, and quality assurance across paid and organic platforms including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube β ensuring outputs align with established creative standards.
β’ Manage the strategic roadmap for organic social media, with the Social Manager executing daily activities, ensuring that priorities and directions are well-defined.
β’ Stay ahead of platform trends, successful ad formats, and innovative creative techniques, sharing insights with the team to enhance ongoing strategy.
β’ Conduct weekly creative performance evaluations β identify successful strategies, eliminate ineffective ones, and outline clear next steps based on data and insights.
β’ 6β8+ years of experience in content strategy, creative strategy, or a combined paid/organic role, preferably at a consumer-facing or e-commerce brand.
β’ Exceptional storyteller with strong creative instincts, editorial judgment, and the capability to educate and inspire audiences across social media platforms.
β’ Extensive knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, with a solid grasp of algorithm behavior, retention mechanics, and performance drivers.
β’ Demonstrated experience in leading both organic social and paid creative strategies, with the ability to enhance brand presence and drive conversions in line with defined growth objectives.
β’ Strong understanding of performance-oriented creative β knowing what captures attention and the ability to translate insights into repeatable frameworks.
β’ Practical production experience, including filming, editing (using tools like CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar), and self-publishing content.
β’ Data-savvy, capable of utilizing performance insights to guide creative decisions and suggest actionable next steps.
β’ Proficient in using AI tools to enhance speed, output, and quality, and capable of guiding others on their effective application.
β’ Experience in managing creative talent (producers, editors, contractors) and driving output through a collaborative and hands-on leadership approach.
β’ Familiarity with UGC platforms and creator management workflows at scale.
β’ Comfortable navigating both strategy and execution β able to switch between hands-on tasks and providing clear creative direction to leadership.
