Lead Consultant, Oracle Cloud ERP Financials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Offer functional expertise on Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, EXP, LA, AHCS, FA) along with their integration with various internal modules and external applications.

• Collaborate closely with Finance and Accounting teams to gather and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionalities.

• Identify gaps, validate configurations, and provide clients with guidance on solution options, risks, and value, while ensuring seamless integration with internal modules and external systems and maintaining precise requirements traceability.

• Configure Oracle Cloud ERP and create reports during the implementation phase, ensuring that the implementation aligns with the solution design and adheres to the recommended best practices for Oracle Cloud ERP.

• Engage in establishing the reporting foundation necessary for project implementation using all available tools within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem (OTBI, BIP, FDI, etc.).

• Develop and participate in Oracle Cloud ERP report usage and test cases, offering support to end users throughout various testing cycles and ensuring the resolution or disposition of any test case failures.

• Organize and lead functional design sessions with business users across multiple regions and functions, integrating the collected requirements into the Cloud ERP system design.

• Align departmental policies and procedures with the processes, policies, and procedures of the Cloud ERP system during the implementation of the solution.

• Support project execution methodology, report on project progress, and proactively identify and manage issues until resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher.

• Over 8 years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP implementation, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes, as well as extensive functional knowledge of the Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, EXP, LA, AHCS, FA) and familiarity with other Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Procurement, Projects, Grants, Core HR, Payroll).

• Prior experience leading ERP implementations as a Functional Consultant, with a minimum of four implementations of the specified modules, including conducting Business Process Workshops/Requirement Gathering Sessions, Proof of Concept Sessions, Conference Room Pilots, System Integrated Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-live support, and Production support.

• In-depth knowledge of financial system integration and overall ERP development, testing, and support.

• Experience in enhancing financial processes and reporting through ERP systems.

• Proficient in creating operational and analytical reports using OTBI, BIP, and SQL.

• Experience in testing and training, specifically aiding finance and accounting functions in adopting newly defined procedures.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the capability to engage senior and executive management and influence outcomes.
