This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
β’ Support management in overseeing collection activities to ensure acceptable delinquency rates while adhering to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
β’ Provide assistance to staff regarding questions about processes and procedures.
β’ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
β’ Generate regular reports on team-specific tasks and objectives.
β’ Carry out collection duties as dictated by the department's workload.
β’ Aid management in assessing delinquency rates for both the loan portfolio and maintenance fee accounts.
β’ Evaluate team performance through auditing, identifying opportunities, and delivering feedback as necessary using various KPI reporting metrics.
β’ Oversee all facets of quality assurance (QA) for collections staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, state laws, and federal laws.
β’ Reach out to delinquent account holders via telephone and mail to collect outstanding payments.
β’ Clearly communicate company policies and procedures alongside collection strategies and practices.
β’ Provide assistance to all collections staff with daily processes and procedures as needed.
β’ Help management in addressing owner inquiries and complaints.
β’ Deliver ongoing training and support for the collection team, including bi-annual Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) certification for all collection personnel.
β’ Facilitate mentoring and development, empower team members by organizing team-building activities, recognizing high achievers, and addressing team feedback to resolve any issues or conflicts.
β’ Offer support to supervisors during their absence.
β’ Participate in special projects as directed by management.
β’ High School Diploma or GED.
β’ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
β’ Proficient in Word, Access, and Excel.
β’ Must fulfill federal and state licensing requirements.
β’ Associate's Degree or College Diploma (preferred).
β’ 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (preferred).
β’ At least 2 years of supervisory experience (preferred).
β’ Experience in third-party collections (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with Timeshare or Vacation Ownership (preferred).
