
Lead Collection Associate – US Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Manage and oversee a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring that collections are executed promptly and adhere to company policies.
• Reach out to customers via email or phone to collect outstanding balances, identify disputes, and resolve issues causing payment delays.
• Maintain the collections report with comprehensive records of collection activities, payment arrangements, and customer communications.
• Collaborate closely with billing and account management teams to ensure that escalated disputes are addressed in a timely manner.
• Regularly review and analyze aging reports to prioritize accounts for collection based on outstanding balances and associated risk factors.
• Provide assistance with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management that relate to collections strategy, reporting, and process enhancements.
• A Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related business discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
