Lead Business Applications Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead discovery, advisory, and shaping initiatives.

• Facilitate workshops and engage in stakeholder discussions.

• Assess options and provide recommendations that balance value, user needs, feasibility, risk, and cost.

• Oversee business-oriented activities within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

• Analyze services, processes, and operational methods to establish requirements, priorities, success metrics, and opportunities for future-state redesign.

• Spearhead the redesign of business processes, services, and operational methods utilizing Copilot, AI-enabled automation, and agentic capabilities.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to shape Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery strategies.

• Establish value cases, success metrics, benefit indicators, and outcome measures.

• Develop platform and capability strategies for Microsoft Business Applications, Copilot, and AI-enabled services.

• Define operating models, design Centres of Excellence, governance frameworks, and targeted operational methodologies.

• Advise clients on Microsoft Business Applications, Power Platform, AI, Copilot, and agentic business processes.

• Guide change management and adoption activities, encompassing stakeholder engagement, readiness, communication, capability enhancement, and benefits realization.

• Articulate options, constraints, and trade-offs while constructively challenging when necessary.

• Identify ethical, privacy, security, regulatory, and human oversight considerations.

• Contribute to proposals, estimates, presentations, and business development efforts.

• Develop consulting methodologies and reusable resources, mentor colleagues, and, when applicable, serve as a People Manager.

• Proven experience leading consulting, discovery, advisory, or shaping initiatives within technology-driven transformations.

• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams across discovery, design, and delivery phases.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation abilities.

• Strong business analysis and analytical capabilities.

• Experience in analyzing services and processes, defining requirements, shaping backlogs or MVPs, and redesigning business processes or operational methods for AI-enabled and agentic models.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform or broader Microsoft Business Applications.

• Knowledge of Copilot, AI, and AI-enabled business processes and services.

• Experience in supporting platform strategies, capability strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, or Centre of Excellence methodologies.

• Understanding of business outcomes, value realization, organizational change, adoption, and benefits realization.

• Ability to communicate effectively with senior, operational, technical, and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience creating customer-facing recommendations, assessments, roadmaps, value cases, or discovery outcomes.

• Awareness of Responsible AI principles, governance, and human oversight requirements.

• Experience mentoring colleagues, sharing expertise, or supporting capability development.

• Desirable: relevant certifications in Microsoft Business Applications, Power Platform, AI, business analysis, organizational change, benefits management, or process improvement.
