Lead Business Analyst – Pharmacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Spearhead business analysis initiatives for intricate, high-stakes healthcare projects.

• Act as the Project Business Lead (BL) for the Pharmacy F6 / NCPDP upgrade.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of structured solution modifications across the BA team.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for DHS, collaborating with the Project Manager.

• Lead and facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, design discussions, and solution demonstrations.

• Ensure comprehensive solution integrity by aligning requirements with technical design.

• Collaborate with the Test Lead and testing team to ensure test scenario alignment.

• Uphold quality assurance standards for all BA deliverables.

• Maintain coordination and communication activities throughout the project.

• Assist the Project Manager with BA team resource allocation and workload management.

• Mentor and coach members of the BA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of nine years of experience as a Business Analyst or requirements lead.

• Proven experience supporting Medicaid or healthcare system implementations (mandatory).

• Strongly preferred experience with NCPDP standards (e.g., D.0, F6) and pharmacy transaction processing.

• Demonstrated capability in leading Business Analyst teams and coordinating across cross-functional business, technical, and operational teams on large, complex IT projects.

• Established ability to lead requirements elicitation, design coordination, and the delivery of sophisticated system solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation, SDLC/PLC processes, and the alignment of requirements with testing and validation activities.

• Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the capability to lead client-facing discussions and influence decisions.
