Lead BIM VDC Drafter Modeler – Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility, demonstrate independence, and maintain professionalism.

• Require minimal oversight and deliver work with precision at a 'finished product' quality (including modeling, coordination, shop drawings, layout drawings, etc.).

• Possess advanced expertise and certification in Revit software.

• If you are not certified, Cadnetics may assist you in obtaining certification and offer reimbursement.

• Foster and sustain ongoing, positive relationships with team members and clients.

• Engage directly and confidently with clients and project teams.

• Create and/or thoroughly address and rectify redlines and/or feedback concerning the project accurately.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field and/or at least 8 years of work experience.

• Familiarity with design and construction codes, specifications, regulations, etc., along with industry standards and best practices.

• Advanced capability in reading and reviewing construction documents, understanding building constructability requirements, and ensuring applicable code compliance.

• Advanced comprehension of virtual design and construction concepts and best practices.

• Significant working experience with specialized software relevant to the virtual design and construction sector (this may encompass various versions of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM360, LotSpec, Cyclone, Scene, Sysque, Laser Scanners, Cameras, and similar tools).

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

• General contractor experience is preferred but not mandatory.
