Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee and sustain Azure cloud infrastructure along with associated platform services.

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform.

• Operate and provide support for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.

• Create and uphold Kubernetes YAML configurations, managing deployments through Helm or Kustomize.

• Diagnose issues within Kubernetes environments using tools such as kubectl.

• Support CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps with YAML configurations.

• Develop and sustain automation scripts, primarily employing PowerShell or Bash.

• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate application integrations and platform operations.

• Manage and provide support for Azure services, including App Services and databases.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to infrastructure and platform.

• Engage in Agile teams utilizing tools such as JIRA and Git.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly in AKS operations.

• Competence in writing and managing Kubernetes YAML files.

• Experience with Helm and Kustomize.

• Skill in troubleshooting Kubernetes environments using kubectl.

• Proficient experience with Azure DevOps and YAML pipelines.

• Scripting capabilities in PowerShell or Bash.

• High-level understanding of .NET (ability to read and comprehend code, libraries, integrations, and project structure).

• Familiarity with Azure App Services.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (subnets, DNS, connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, NetScaler or equivalent).

• Fundamental knowledge of Git.

• Basic understanding of the Linux operating system.

• Experience in Agile environments utilizing JIRA and sprints.

• General knowledge of infrastructure and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience working collaboratively with developers.
