Lead Architect – Solution Architecture, Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• The Lead Architect is tasked with the architecture and design of new or improved products and services, crafting proposed solutions that align with client needs and enhance Unisys's competitive stance.

• This position leverages extensive technical and architectural knowledge to foster innovation in products and services, converting client business requirements and goals into specific, actionable solutions.

• The Lead Architect offers consulting and sales support to strategic prospects and accounts, communicating the Unisys value proposition and providing thought leadership to both business-oriented and technical audiences.

• Solutions are crafted to meet financial objectives while also satisfying or surpassing service delivery requirements.

• Evaluates and audits existing product ecosystems, proposing optimization strategies based on client goals, prior experiences, and industry best practices.

• Develops relevant and comprehensive architecture/documentation to support the recommended strategies.

• Creates detailed roadmaps that guide both short-term and long-term actions for solution design, deployment, and enhancement.

• Provides consulting and pre-sales assistance to strategic prospects and accounts, articulating the Unisys value proposition and crafting custom solutions as necessary.

• Delivers thought leadership to business-oriented, technical, and other stakeholders.

• Participates in project estimation, scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline creation. Suggests management and governance policies in line with client limitations.

• Designs solutions that fulfill financial targets while also meeting or exceeding service delivery standards, ensuring proposed solutions place Unisys competitively while remaining technically viable and aligned with business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 6–8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven ability to design and architect enterprise-level technical solutions.

• Strong consulting, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• U.S. Citizenship and residency are required.

• This position may necessitate access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Therefore, to comply with U.S. export control regulations, applicants should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
