Lead Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the architectural strategy for Airvoyant's AI-driven platform.

• Create scalable solutions utilizing Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and intelligent automation technologies.

• Lead the architecture for cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.

• Establish standards for architecture, governance, security, and best practices.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Drive the selection of technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and oversee architecture reviews.

• Mentor engineering teams and offer technical leadership throughout the organization.

• Design integrations with aviation, MRO, ERP, and supply chain systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering and architecture.

• More than 5 years of experience in architecting cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Strong expertise in AI/LLM-based solutions.

• Proficiency in Agentic AI and RAG architectures.

• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with API-first and event-driven architectures.

• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns.

• Practical experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.

• Experience in designing highly scalable, secure, and resilient SaaS platforms.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
