Lead Applications Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, modify, debug, and assess programs for operational or functional areas.

• Analyze intricate business challenges and identify automated system solutions.

• Offer technical expertise in the identification, evaluation, and development of cost-effective systems and processes.

• Review existing programs and create logic for new systems.

• Develop logical procedures, create flowcharts, code, and test/debug programs.

• Create plans for system conversion and implementation.

• Prepare and secure approval for system and programming documentation.

• Suggest modifications to development, maintenance, and system standards.

• Configure system settings and options as needed.

• Plan and conduct unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

• Generate system specifications to fulfill business requirements.

• Train users on system conversion and implementation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, specialized training, or equivalent professional experience.

• Extensive experience throughout the entire software development life cycle.

• Profound experience in applying code management principles.

• Eight (8) years of pertinent technical or business work experience.

• Experience in data warehouse development utilizing SQL, Oracle, Linux/UNIX, IBM DataStage (Infosphere), and/or Java (Spring).

• Basic experience with data modeling, including entity relationship and dimensional models.

• Experience in data profiling and analysis using SQL.

• Familiarity with agile project methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban.
