
Lead Application Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main technical authority for production support code paths, hotfixes, and enhancements focused on stability.
• Conduct thorough technical triage across the entire application stack.
• Examine logs, traces, database queries, and application behavior to determine root causes.
• Set engineering standards for code managed by the support team.
• Create and implement targeted hotfixes while coordinating production releases.
• Lead post-incident reviews and take ownership of corrective action items.
• Track patterns of production defects and incidents to highlight recurring issues.
• Develop and maintain a problem registry.
• Promote the use of AI and automation tools.
• Actively participate in the engineering backlog to identify, define, and prioritize technical debt.
• Over 10 years of experience in application support, software engineering, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership position.
• Strong hands-on expertise in .NET / C# for reading, debugging, and writing high-quality production code.
• Comprehensive understanding of React front-end applications.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven history of managing complex, high-stakes production incidents from start to finish.
• Familiarity with structured problem management methodologies.
