This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead comprehensive analyses on critical and often uncertain inquiries, from defining the problem to providing recommendations and measuring impact.
• Develop dashboards and reporting systems to address routine inquiries from stakeholders.
• Establish benchmarks for analytical rigor, methodologies, and documentation practices.
• Utilize statistical techniques, experimental design, and causal analysis.
• Collaborate with leadership to uncover opportunities for enhanced efficiency, growth, and improved outcomes.
• Work alongside analytics engineers on data modeling at the warehouse level.
• Transform recurring analytical requirements into sustainable models.
• Create and validate standard data definitions.
• Guide analysts on analytical techniques and business acumen without formal management responsibilities.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Persuade senior stakeholders and present conclusions based on evidence.
• Over 8 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• At least 2 years of experience functioning at a senior analyst level.
• Proven history of insights that have influenced business decisions.
• Experience providing support across multiple business functions from a centralized analytics team.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in SQL at an expert level.
• Strong skills in Python for statistical analyses.
• Advanced experience with Looker or a comparable BI tool, including LookML, dashboard design, and semantic-layer understanding.
• Familiarity with experimental design and causal inference methodologies.
• Comfortable collaborating with analytics engineers on data modeling and warehouse architecture.
• Ability to work autonomously with ambiguous business challenges.
• Capability to mentor others without formal authority.
• Experience with patient and healthcare-related data, along with sound judgment in handling sensitive information, is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
