This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more states.
β’ Develop new analyses and enhance existing ones utilizing SQL and Python.
β’ Employ software engineering practices such as version control and continuous integration within the analytics codebase.
β’ Enrich our data warehouse with high-quality data prepared for analysis.
β’ Implement sophisticated data testing methodologies to ensure that resulting data stores conform to anticipated business logic.
β’ Establish validation checks and automated testing protocols to oversee data quality in your ETL/ELT pipelines.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to outline business logic and data expectations.
β’ Propel a shift in data utilization by actively providing insights to stakeholders.
β’ Lead initiatives in problem definition, scoping, design, and planning.
β’ Create tools and automation to manage data infrastructure.
β’ Oversee large-scale data migrations within relational data stores.
β’ 8+ years of experience working with data in a software environment.
β’ Required Skills: Expertise in SQL and Python; extensive experience with business semantic layer tools, data catalog tools, and data integrity testing frameworks. Familiarity with dbt orchestration and best practices is essential.
β’ A proven history of working independently and proactively, with profound knowledge of data systems.
β’ Required Tech Stack: SQL, Python, relational data stores, DAG tools (such as Dagster or Airflow), dbt, and Tableau.
β’ Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Terraform) and document, graph, or schema-less data stores.
