Lead Analyst, Contract Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Account Management and Offer Development teams to proactively address and influence the contracting requirements for the primary customer segment.

• Under management's guidance, oversee and manage the negotiation of commercial contract terms and conditions.

• Assist in prioritizing and managing the workload queue effectively.

• Draft, review, and negotiate the terms and conditions within commercial contract documents, and partake in customer calls as needed.

• Work alongside the Manager and Senior Manager of Contract Management to facilitate internal contract approvals and stakeholder negotiations, aiming to resolve complex issues and assist in disputes.

• Build and sustain positive business relationships with Legal, Offer Development, Health Care Compliance, and the Field Sales Organization.

• Proactively assist in the design and implementation of systems, processes, and controls to track and manage the contracting process, enhancing efficiency and compliance.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal partners, in line with the company's mission and values.

• Offer regular mentorship and training to Contract Management team members and business partners to promote understanding of contractual requirements, as well as the general legal and compliance landscape.

• Collaborate with Offer Development and Field teams to address any discrepancies or gaps in pricing approvals.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required.

• A degree in Business, Finance, or Sales & Marketing is preferred.

• At least 4 years of experience in Contracting & Pricing or related business fields within the medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or legal sectors is required.

• Strong interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to lead in a sophisticated, deadline-oriented environment is essential.

• Proficient in drafting complex contract terms and conditions, with keen attention to detail, reviewing contracts for policy conformity, identifying and assessing risks, and a strong desire to comprehend Orthopaedic products and business strategies is required.

• Proficiency in MS Word, including the use of track changes and document comparison features.

• Experience and demonstrated capability to work within a matrix commercial organization, including field sales teams, contracting, and financial profitability is preferred.

• Extensive experience with Orthopaedic Contracting systems and support tools is preferred.

• Familiarity with the Orthopedics business, its products, and strategies is preferred.

• Ability to establish strong, trust-based relationships with CPLG, Account Management, Franchises, Offer Development, and Contract Strategy is preferred.

• Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence all levels of the organization, a willingness to take prudent risks, and the ability to indirectly manage cross-functional teams is preferred.

• High level of ownership and a strong drive for meeting or exceeding expectations is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to executive leadership and build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
