Lead AI Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire design lifecycle for a variety of products, from the initial research and ideation phase to high-fidelity visuals and final execution.

• Simplify complex user and business challenges into elegant, functional design solutions that cater to user needs and align with strategic objectives.

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs that clearly convey design concepts and guarantee an intuitive user experience.

• Perform user testing and utilize data-driven insights to validate design choices, ensuring that designs meet performance targets and evolve based on user feedback.

• Design and enhance AI-driven workflows, covering both conversational and non-conversational AI experiences, with a focus on clarity, usability, and engagement.

• Develop sophisticated micro-interactions, motion, and feedback states that make AI responses feel intentional and responsive.

• Provide mentorship to junior designers, aiding them in skill development, overcoming challenges, and refining their design methodologies.

• Contribute to the evolution of the design system, ensuring uniformity and scalability across all products and features.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet technical requirements and product goals.

• Champion user-centered design thinking throughout the organization, ensuring that design decisions are driven by user insights and aligned with business objectives.

• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design tools, integrating new ideas and methodologies into design processes to enhance product experiences.

• Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and guidelines, providing a seamless and inclusive experience for every user.

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems.

• Capability to incorporate user research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights into design choices.

• Strong communication skills and experience working within agile, cross-functional teams.

• In-depth understanding of user interface and user experience principles, with the ability to balance aesthetics and functionality.

• Proven capability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to mentor and guide junior designers while promoting a culture of growth and collaboration.

• Experience in designing for conversational AI agents, especially focusing on usability KPIs and iterative enhancements.

• Establish patterns and frameworks for responsible AI design.

• Strong systems thinking and ability to design in scenarios of ambiguity.

• Utilize AI design tools to speed up ideation, layout generation, copy exploration, and prototyping.
