Lead AI Engineer – Financial Inclusion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise a team of two AI Ops Engineers — responsible for their delivery, development, and daily activities.

• Efficiently prioritize tasks — handle competing requests from various teams by implementing a clear prioritization framework that you will help create and enhance.

• Develop and deploy automations and agents that significantly enhance the productivity of internal teams and customer-facing personnel.

• Maintain the AI tooling stack effectively as usage expands across more than 2,500 employees.

• Stay updated on new AI tools and technologies — distinguish between trends and genuinely useful innovations.

• Assist in refining AI training for the broader organization, including teams in Software Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in creating automations — including scripting, workflow tools, or AI-assisted development.

• Direct experience in building agents using agentic frameworks — such as LangChain, MCP, Google ADK, or comparable technologies.

• Familiarity with enterprise tooling — including rapid prototyping tools (Vercel/Railway), identity automation (Entra), or internal platforms.

• Experience in people leadership — you have mentored or led engineers and can take responsibility for a team’s delivery and development.
