This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Act as an expert in ultrasound regarding imaging standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Assist in the collection of protocols, standards of practice, training materials, and clinical reference resources.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and pinpoint educational opportunities and workflow deficiencies.
• Offer specialized support for ultrasound PACS and reporting systems, including implementation assistance, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Function as a clinical liaison for clients, aiding in onboarding and workflow development.
• Mentor and coach AP sonographers as well as client OB/MFM sonographers for optimization.
• Manage and develop the APS schedule.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 15 years of bedside experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine Ultrasound scanning is required.
• Experience in supporting or administering ultrasound platforms is necessary.
• ARDMS credentials in OBGYN and Fetal Echocardiography are preferred.
• Completion of the FMF cervical assessment course or willingness to complete it within six months of the hire date.
• Assessment in Obstetrics is preferred.
• Certification by the Fetal Medicine Foundation for Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Assessment is preferred.
• Graduates of a CAAHEP accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography are preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are essential.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Proven interpersonal communication skills across various channels are necessary.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team is required.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• Flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks with guidance are needed.
• Proven capability to navigate ultrasound PAC systems for data and reporting is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a high-growth, fast-paced, remote-based environment is necessary.
• Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time and travel as needed for meetings and collaboration.
