Lead Accountant – US Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Provide daily updates on the cash position to ensure leadership has a clear understanding of the financial status.

• Manage the rolling 13-week cash forecast effectively.

• Monitor revenue and cash inflows generated from commercial activities.

• Take responsibility for accounts receivable and collections.

• Evaluate expenses and spending commitments to prevent unexpected surprises.

• Conduct month-end closing procedures and finalize the books promptly.

• Compile the monthly management reporting package.

• Review headcount and payroll on a monthly basis.

• Report on Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and retention metrics.

• Oversee the tax compliance and filing calendar.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with US-based companies.

• Proven knowledge of US GAAP.

• (Possession of a CPA license is advantageous.)

• Proficient in QuickBooks and similar accounting tools.

• Experience with Ramp, Stripe, or HubSpot is beneficial.

• Practical experience in developing or utilizing AI tools within accounting tasks.

• Must be available to work EST or PST hours.
