Chief Product Technology Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Oversee both Product and Engineering, ensuring that product remains the focal point.

• Report directly to the CEO while collaborating with the COO and Head of Sales.

• Lead seasoned Product and Engineering teams, including six teams with established leads.

• Take full ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization throughout the entire process.

• Mediate product direction and priorities across the organization in conjunction with the CEO and leadership group.

• Guide the engineering organization’s structure, delivery, quality, and growth via team leaders.

• Ensure alignment between Product, go-to-market strategies, ideal customer profiles, and Sales.

• Lead the technical strategy and architecture to maintain a coherent, scalable, and secure platform.

• Transform the roadmap into software that is predictably and reliably delivered.

• Implement a strategic AI approach in product development and team-building processes, backed by a business model.

• Articulate a comprehensive company-wide product vision and roadmap.

• Transition from reactive, request-driven development to a proactive, roadmap-driven approach.

• Synchronize Product, ideal customer profile, and go-to-market initiatives to significantly lessen ad hoc development.

• Develop and execute a strategy to scale product architecture effectively.

• Establish clear engineering standards that ensure predictable delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A senior leader with experience in both Product and Engineering, or a product leader who has authentically led engineering efforts.

• Proven success in B2B SaaS, preferably in vertical software.

• Experience in owning product vision, roadmap, and prioritization at scale.

• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering organizations, covering aspects such as architecture, technical strategy, delivery, quality, team structuring, and growth.

• Skill in refining a complex, feature-rich product to achieve a coherent and scalable architecture.

• A well-defined perspective on AI integration within both the product and engineering realms, supported by a business model.

• Proven experience in aligning product strategies with go-to-market initiatives and ideal customer profiles.

• Capacity to provide guidance in a founder-led company with an established team.

• Background in Education, EdTech, or other regulated, workflow-heavy sectors is a plus.

• Experience in international, multi-market SaaS environments is desirable.

• Familiarity with founder-led companies transitioning from craftsmanship to scaling is advantageous.

• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions and product integration is considered a plus.
