Lawyer, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Provide legal assistance as a mid-level generalist with a strong emphasis on contracts for iGaming, payments, IT, and commercial initiatives.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, addenda, NDAs, DPAs/DSAs, referral/introducer agreements, service agreements, IT/SaaS/software development agreements, terms, and policies.

• Counsel commercial, product, finance, and compliance teams regarding contract structure, liability, payment flow, data, IP, sanctions/AML/KYC, and operational risks.

• Examine terms and conditions from IT vendors, payment partners, operators, and other counterparties.

• Develop and revise templates, negotiation stances, trackers, contract matrices, and internal guidance.

• Assist in projects linking payment providers and operators where the company serves as an intermediary through referral and introducer agreements.

• Draft, review, and negotiate introducer/referral agreements with PSPs, operators, and related partners, including commission/revenue share mechanics and payment terms.

• Evaluate provider and operator terms, onboarding protocols, merchant requirements, transaction flows, chargebacks, reserves, settlements, confidentiality, and data protection.

• Facilitate the legal onboarding of PSPs/operators in collaboration with commercial, finance, and compliance teams; monitor contract stages and unresolved legal issues.

• Review IT and product agreements concerning integrations, API access, support, maintenance, hosting, security, data processing, and SLA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a Contract Lawyer or Legal Generalist.

• Experience in iGaming, payments, or fintech sectors.

• Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.

• Familiarity with NDAs, DPAs/DSAs, service agreements, terms review, privacy/IP, and fundamental AML/KYC issues.

• Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and cross-functional legal support.

• English proficiency at B2+ level and fluent in Russian.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and project ownership capabilities.

• A business-oriented and pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving.

• Nice to have: Experience with referral/introducer agreements, PSP/operator onboarding, or commission/revenue share models.

• Understanding of API, integration, SLA, limitation of liability, and indemnity clauses.
