Law Student – Research Assistant, Data Protection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist the legal department in various legal domains.

• Handle all matters related to data protection.

• Prepare and evaluate contracts.

• Perform legal research and analyze issues pertaining to data protection law.

• Conduct research in general civil law, medical law (particularly DiGAV), competition law, and social security law.

• Execute paralegal and administrative duties, such as acquiring signatures from contracting parties and managing documents.

• Collaborate with the legal team throughout the entire organization in a bilingual environment.

• Offer practical compliance solutions that are actionable.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Legal expertise.

• Fundamental understanding of data protection law.

• Advanced knowledge of data protection law (preferred).

• Familiarity with medical law (preferred).

• Current eligibility to work in Germany is required on the application form.
