Laser Welding Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the entire process and application specifics associated with handheld laser products.

• Collaborate with targeted customers to identify and assess manufacturing constraints and opportunities. Offer strategic training and technical support to key partners.

• Perform product demonstrations to illustrate the benefits of handheld laser products and encourage conversions. Organize the necessary divisional resources to assist with specific sales initiatives.

• Create engaging, data-driven ROI capital equipment sales presentations for handheld laser solutions.

• Qualify leads in alignment with Handheld Laser solutions while managing the opportunity funnel.

• Ensure consistent verbal and written communication regarding key activities between sales resources, distributor partners, key end-users, and the Precision Welding Solutions Division.

• Effectively oversee the assigned territory, prioritizing tasks through an 80/20 approach that targets key accounts and activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in the welding industry.

• Strong business acumen is essential.

• Solid background in the TIG process and/or Laser welding techniques.

• Previous sales experience in the welding sector is preferred.

• Exceptional ability to articulate the value proposition to various levels of end-user management.

• Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to formulate strategic plans and proposals based on the current customer landscape.

• Proficient in strategic selling techniques with a focus on value-added sales approaches to facilitate the conversion process.

• Ability to engage with and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

• Willingness to travel overnight at least 75% of the time.

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Bilingual skills are preferred.
