Large Loss Outside Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Visit customers’ residences to perform on-site assessments

• Examine property claim coverage

• Generate estimates and resolve claims in a prompt and efficient manner

• Manage virtual claims nationwide utilizing platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration

• Specialize in water loss claims

• Deliver empathetic, transparent, and customer-centric claims service

• Conduct thorough damage evaluations and interpret policy details to ascertain coverage

• Engage with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing

• Provide customers with communication options and keep them informed about their claim status

• Assess and negotiate claim settlements with clients, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants

• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to address claims

• Ensure timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims management system

• Participate in approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of prior experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred

• Experience managing claims that involve multiple trades and losses exceeding $100,000

• Expertise in using Xactimate and other relevant estimating software

• Strong critical thinking and technical skills for precise damage assessment

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

• Willingness to travel to customers’ homes and manage virtual claims nationwide

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Residency in the specified location is essential

• Capability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a pitch of up to 6/12

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel

• Applicants holding active insurance licenses must terminate existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments during employment

• Those with a resident producer license must surrender it as directed by the licensing team

• Must secure an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if required

• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory

• A dedicated, private workspace at home that is free from distractions

• Dependable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
