This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, edit, and enhance high-quality content for professional development initiatives.
• Design content that adheres to adult learning principles while being engaging, culturally relevant, and accessible.
• Assist in the content development process from initial drafting to final delivery.
• Conduct research on evidence-based practices, literacy standards, and current trends.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and product developers.
• Review and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Integrate user feedback and guidance from the Director to continually elevate content quality.
• Contribute to a content development process that furthers CORE's mission of providing equitable and accessible literacy education.
• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Literacy, Linguistics, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional content development experience in a corporate, publishing, or educational setting.
• Experience in a product development environment is strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years of successful experience in ELA teaching or coaching is required.
• In-depth, applied knowledge of the Science of Reading, structured literacy, and language acquisition.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within teams and across different functions.
• Proficiency in G-Suite, Zoom, and relevant educational technology tools.
• Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or other similar project management platforms is preferred.
• Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) or Content Management System (CMS) is preferred.
